When the trains aren't running, here is your substitute A two-car 3000 class rail car proceeds past Islington Works. The railcar yard at Belair. This yard stables 8 3000/3100 class railcars overnight. The last thing you'd expect to see at the National Railway Museum - a newly refurbished 3101 & 3102. This railcar set was chartered by the Friends of Belair Station and ran express from Belair Station to the NRM. Bluebird 257 in pristine condition at the National Railway Museum. The 300 class Red Hen in the sunshine at the National Railway Museum. A 4-car 2000 class railcar set proceeds to Adelaide through Mile End.

Peek-a-boo, I see GM37 poking it nose out from behind a bush. NR38 awaiting it next duties at Regency Park Freight Terminal 1AM leaves Regency Park FQ03 out the back of the Motive Power Centre at Dry Creek AN3 sandwiched at Regency Park AN3 was also still at Regency Park Idling coupled to NR38 The specs plate on the NR Class Locomotive Additional Locomotives preparing to couple up to the idling locomotive. My understanding was that they were proceeding to EDI Rail at Dry Creek for refuelling, Almost there! We got it! NR93 commencing its shunting manouver. DL-something passes me by on a shunting manuover. NR93 coupled to the DL, takes it consist back in the Regency Park Freight Terminal In the distance the Overland is approaching Tintinara at a rather Rapid Speeds. As it is generally the only train to run during daylight hours, and normally doesn't have to cross anything. Here we go, taken just 30 seconds later.... By the time the camera was ready again, it was gone! The Locomotive currently waits in Pt Augusta for departure. NM25 on the Triangle at Stirling North NSU52 on the Triangle at Stirling North NSU52 on the Triangle at Stirling North NR74 and 109 arrive at Stirling North to Parallel our train back to Port Augusta NR74 and 109 arrive at Stirling North to Parallel our train back to Port Augusta NR74 under the main bridge at Pt Augusta Shunting the 1km long Ghan, NR74 and 109 had to make 2 stops at Pt Augusta to unload passengers. While the dignatires away, the Ghan waits at Pt Augusta Station. G526 leading 6PM9 to Melbourne at Mt. Lofty Station. There were 5 G Class Locos on this trains, all powered. G526, G529, G520, G539, G542.
